            Football Recap: Kinston Vikings vs. South Columbus Stallions        
        
		
        
        
             It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kinston had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They walked away with  a   38-29  win over the South Columbus Stallions. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Vikings.
 A big part of Kinston's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Tyler Jones and his top target  Tyreek Copper. Jones threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns while  Copper picked up 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Copper showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 56 yards.  Jeremiah Hart helped  Jones out on the ground, rushing for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
 Kinston's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for South Columbus,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-3.
 Kinston will head out to  take on Southeast Alamance  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Southeast Alamance knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Kinston likes a good challenge. South Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
