It's playoff time, and Honey Grove had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the North Hopkins Panthers with a sharp 14-4 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Warriors have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Honey Grove is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for North Hopkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Honey Grove beat the Panthers by a score of 13-3 later that day.
