Softball Recap: Grayson County Takes a Loss

Grayson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Holston Cavaliers. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by exactly six runs.

Grayson County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Holston, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Grayson County will be playing in front of their home fans against George Wythe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holston, they will head out on the road to take on Twin Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Cavaliers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
