Football Game Preview: Germantown Warhawks vs. Pewaukee Pirates

Germantown blew Brookfield Central out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Brookfield Central got their revenge. The Warhawks fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 27-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warhawks have suffered against the Lancers since September 1, 2017.

Meanwhile, Pewaukee fell victim to Mukwonago and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Indians and fell 42-0. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pewaukee has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Germantown, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
