Basketball Game Preview: Owen J. Roberts Wildcats vs. Kennett Blue Demons

The Owen J. Roberts Wildcats will take on the Kennett Blue Demons in a holiday battle at at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Owen J. Roberts came up into this matchup off a tough 23-point defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Phoenixville by a score of 48-46 on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Phantoms recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Kennett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of Bayard Rustin.

Owen J. Roberts' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Kennett, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
