Hawken entered their tilt with West Geauga on Monday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They didn't even let the Wolverines on the board, marking their second-straight 11-0 shutout. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Jack Ruple, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Kimball, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hawken kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive contests.

Hawken's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for West Geauga, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.
