Basketball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 65-55 to the Katy Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 909th, while the Tigers are ranked 57th).

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Katy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

MacArthur will challenge Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Katy, they will take on New Caney in a tournament on Friday.
