Basketball Recap: Keller Central Chargers vs. Byron Nelson Bobcat

Keller Central extended their losing streak to 13 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 7-25. They had to suffer through a 57-28 loss at the hands of the Byron Nelson Bobcat. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcat this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-48 back in January.

Leading Byron Nelson to victory were Belle Ratliff and Berkley Smith. Ratliff almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Smith shot 40% from the field to rack up 16 points and five boards. Ratliff continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kinsey Morris, who posted ten points and three steals.

Keller Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Byron Nelson, they will take on Boswell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcat will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
