STREAMWOOD, Ill. - the Bulldogs scored 35 points in the second quarter to secure a big 56-14 victory over Streamwood (Ill.) on Saturday.
Batavia scored on a touchdown run by
Anthony Scaccia, an Scaccia touchdown run, a touchdown run by Scaccia, a touchdown pass by
Micah Coffey to Scaccia and a Coffey touchdown pass to
Blake Crowder in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a Coffey touchdown pass to
Jordan Zwart in the first quarter, BHS was up 49-7 at the half.
The Bulldogs expanded their lead to 49 points entering the fourth quarter. Batavia's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by
Andrew Clark.
Scaccia played well for BHS in the victory. The senior running back ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Bulldogs came away with a 49-6 victory.
The loss was the fourth in a row for the Sabres.
