Basketball Recap: Brailin Barnhill's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Conway Christian over Green Sea Floyds

Conway Christian played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 64-42 to the Green Sea Floyds Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-37 last Monday.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brailin Barnhill, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 17 points. Dalton Droll was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took racking up 10 points.

Conway Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Green Sea Floyds, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Conway Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 47-36 victory against Lee Academy on the 10th. Green Sea Floyds has also already played their next game, an 80-52 loss against Loris on the 11th.
