There's no place like home for Herndon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Washington-Liberty Generals on Monday as the Herndon Hornets made off with a 65-42 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Hornets have posted since December 23, 2024.

Herndon's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Washington-Liberty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Herndon will head out to square off against Langley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington-Liberty, they will take on McLean at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Washington-Liberty is facing McLean at the right time seeing as McLean is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
