Volleyball Recap: Lincoln's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Lincoln lost against Glenwood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Railsplitters fell 2-0 to the Titans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19.

Grace Bivin paced Lincoln's offense, picking up six kills. Bivin got some help from Lauren Tedrick and her 15 assists. Finally, Jocelyn Perkins kept Lincoln's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Lincoln's defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-14. As for Glenwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Springfield Southeast on the 21st. As for Glenwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Illinois Valley Central on the 18th.
