Soccer Recap: Wrightstown Takes a Loss

After flying high against Amherst on Tuesday, Wrightstown came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Freedom Irish on Thursday, falling 4-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Wrightstown couldn't quite close it out.

Wrightstown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Freedom, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wrightstown will be taking part in a tournament against New Holstein on Saturday. As for Freedom, they will take on Denmark at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
