Preview: Canadian Wildcats vs. Spearman Lynx
Canadian is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Spearman is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Canadian Wildcats will take on the Spearman Lynx at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canadian will be strutting in after a win while Spearman will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Canadian strolled past Tulia with points to spare, taking the game 60-44. Given Canadian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 479th, while Tulia is ranked 1118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Spearman suffered their closest loss yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Dalhart by a score of 45-42.
Canadian's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Spearman, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Canadian skirted past Spearman 52-50 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Does Canadian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spearman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
