Jemison and Verbena are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Panthers will host the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jemison is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Jemison came up short against Isabella and fell 14-10.

Arabella Lack was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those runs marked the first that she has scored this season. Another player making a difference was Makinzi Eggers, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Verbena fell victim to Maplesville and their airtight pitching crew back in March. They lost 16-0 to Maplesville. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, Verbena's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Verbena's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Jemison, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Jemison got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 against Verbena by a conclusive 17-3 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
