Elgin has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hardin Northern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Polar Bears at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Hardin Northern suffered their biggest loss since March 29th on Friday. They came up short against North Baltimore, falling 10-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Polar Bears in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Addy Bacon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Hardin Northern, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
