Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for East Forsyth

East Forsyth waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cedar Shoals Jaguars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncos also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant East Forsyth was: they took both sets by at least 18 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-7.

Madelyn Toman paced East Forsyth's offense, picking up four kills. Toman got some help from Abby Larson and her ten assists. Mataya Orth controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

East Forsyth's record now sits at 13-4. As for Cedar Shoals, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, East Forsyth and Cedar Shoals will both be playing Walnut Grove the next time they take the court. The Jaguars will head out to face the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Broncos will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
