Basketball Recap: Union City Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Union City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 66-56 win over the Ninnekah Owls on Saturday. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 75-63 victory the Owls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Union City's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Ninnekah, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union City will venture away from home to take on Cement at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ninnekah has already played their next match (against Bray-Doyle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
