Basketball Game Preview: San Augustine Wolves vs. Woden Eagles

The San Augustine Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Woden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (San Augustine has eight straight wins, Woden has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, San Augustine was fully in charge, breezing past Hemphill 75-45. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Woden was beaten by West Sabine 76-46 on Friday.

San Augustine's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Woden, their loss dropped their record down to 10-21.

Everything came up roses for San Augustine against Woden when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 69-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
