Volleyball Recap: Merit Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short

Merit Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Pinnacle Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-11.

Merit Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Pinnacle, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.

Merit Preparatory Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pinnacle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Monticello on the 16th.
