Greenbrier Christian Academy faced Godwin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Greenbrier Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Godwin, sneaking past 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Gators sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Greenbrier Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyson Moravec, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Greenbrier Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Godwin, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Coincidentally, Greenbrier Christian Academy and Godwin will both be playing Atlantic Shores Christian the next time they take the field. Godwin will head out to face Atlantic Shores Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Greenbrier Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
