Basketball Recap: Taft Find Success

Taft's tournament run continued when they took on Franklin County on Saturday. The Taft Senators walked away with a 58-50 win over the Franklin County Flyers. The 58-point effort marked the Senators' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Taft now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Franklin County, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Taft has already played their next game, a 69-68 victory against Montgomery County on the 22nd. As for Franklin County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boone County at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
