There's no place like home for Sullivan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the South Putnam Eagles on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Arrows in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Sullivan not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept South Putnam between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-16.

Destiny Gaines paced Sullivan's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gaines got some help from Rachel Eslinger and her 40 assists. Eslinger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Despite the loss, South Putnam still got an impressive performance from Lilah Holderfield, who had 27 digs and one assist. Holderfield has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Sullivan's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for South Putnam, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Sullivan has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Linton-Stockton on the 30th. As for South Putnam, they are taking a road trip to take on Southmont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
