Baseball Recap: Greenon Comes Up Short

Greenon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 9-4 to the Pike Red Devils.

Greenon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Rychnovsky, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Greenon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pike, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Greenon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Catholic Central on the 8th. As for Pike, they have also already played their next game, a 6-4 victory against Lawrence Central on the 8th.
