Basketball Recap: Hillcrest's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Hillcrest was the 66-56 winner over Santiago when they last played one another back in November of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 69-54 to the Sharks. The loss put an end to the Trojans' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hillcrest fell to 2-1. As for Santiago, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Hillcrest will face off against Nuview Bridge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Santiago, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Silverado at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sharks will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
