Basketball Recap: Midview Middies vs. Lorain Titans

The Midview Middies came into Wednesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Lorain 55-40 on Wednesday. The win was just what Midview needed coming off of a 64-28 loss in their prior match.

When it comes to explaining why Lorain lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kayla Mosley. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points along with four steals and two blocks. Mosley hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Samone Whitt was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 11 rebounds.

Midview's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Lorain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Midview will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Berea-Midpark is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Lorain, they will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Maple Heights focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Monday.
