Basketball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 63-33 defeat at the hands of the Walnut Hills Eagles. The Raptors were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Anderson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Breea Coston, who posted six points and five rebounds. Kate Duncan was another key player, putting up eight points.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Walnut Hills, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Anderson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-26 defeat against West Clermont on the 3rd. As for Walnut Hills, they are taking a road trip to take on Anderson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
