Basketball Recap: Poolville Comes Up Short

If Poolville was feeling good fresh off their 57-27 takedown of Hico last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Poolville Monarchs fell 45-38 to the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-38 back in December of 2024.

Poolville's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Hamilton, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

When Poolville and Hamilton next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Poolville will try to stop Graford's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hamilton will take on Lipan and their six-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
