Soccer Game Preview: Denton vs. Grapevine

Denton is 0-9 against Grapevine since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Denton face off against the Grapevine at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Denton is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Saturday. They came up short against Birdville, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 464th, while the Hawks are ranked 88th).

Meanwhile, Grapevine didn't have quite enough to beat Argyle on Friday and fell 2-1.

Grapevine's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Denton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
