It was a good run, but Hiawatha unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wellsville Eagles.

Hiawatha's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michaela Williams, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Kylie Nelson, who had nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Hiawatha's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Wellsville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

As of now, neither Hiawatha nor Wellsville have any future games scheduled.
