While Monett's win against McDonald County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cubs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Mustangs 4-3. Considering Monett's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
