Graves County wins going away against Greenwood

The Graves County Eagles had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 22-7 victory over Greenwood. This was payback for Graves County, who suffered a 44-17 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Graves County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cole Katzman, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown. Katzman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.

Graves County's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points per game. As for Greenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Graves County will square off against Bowling Green at TBD on Friday. Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
