Baseball Recap: Nazareth's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nazareth can now relate to. They fell 4-1 to the O'Donnell Eagles on Saturday. The Swifts were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but the Eagles' pitcher proved too tough.

Cameron Pohlmeier was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Nazareth moved to 16-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for O'Donnell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season.
