Volleyball Game Preview: Murphysboro Red Devils vs. Carterville Lions + How To Watch

The Murphysboro Red Devils will square off against the Carterville Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Murphysboro has three straight victories, Carterville has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Murphysboro beat Harrisburg 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Carterville faced off against Washington on Friday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Murphysboro's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Carterville, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Murphysboro came out on top in a nail-biter against Carterville in their previous matchup back in August, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
