Parkersburg South faced Cabell Midland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Patriots fell 3-0 to the Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Parkersburg South's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Cabell Midland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.
