Kane Graham Delivers Electric Effort Vs Lake City

Starting off the list is Houghton Lake's Kane Graham, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Graham rushed for 234 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per carry. Those 234 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

If the past is any indication, Graham could be in store for another big game when he takes on Evart on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Graham saw the Wildcats), he rushed for 232 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry.

Evart had to settle for second on Friday, but Aidan Anderson sure wasn't going down easily. Anderson was unstoppable, rushing for 105 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 231 yards and a touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes.

This is the second loss in a row for Evart and nudges their season record down to 4-3. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats challenges Houghton Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Keeping Anderson company is Dryson Derscheid, a fellow Evart player. He picked up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Tyler Bailey Makes It Two for Houghton Lake

The second Houghton Lake player making an appearance here is Tyler Bailey, and for good reason. He rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Another Evart player making an appearance on this list is Noah Vanderlinde. He picked up 99 receiving yards.

Unfortunately for McBain, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Vanderlinde. When Vanderlinde last faced the Ramblers back in October of 2023, he picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
