Mason Atkins Delivers Best Performance of Season

Mason Atkins produced his most outstanding game to date while leading West Aurora to the win on Friday. Atkins threw for 233 yards and five touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.

The win for West Aurora keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. It'll be Eastside v. Westside when their and Aurora East meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
