Recap: Paoli Rams vs. Springs Valley Blackhawks
The Paoli Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 43-36 to Springs Valley. If Paoli hoped to take revenge for the 50-43 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Despite the loss, Paoli still got an impressive performance from Jehrico Hopper, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Maddie Vernon was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Paoli has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Springs Valley, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paoli will face off against Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mitchell is out to stop a eight-game streak of losses at home. As for Springs Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Washington Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Washington Catholic is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
