Softball Recap: Strawn Comes Up Short

Strawn couldn't beat Graford on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Rabbits by a score of 7-6. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strawn's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Graford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Strawn will venture away from home to take on Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.42 runs per game on average), something the Greyhounds will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Graford, they will square off against Crawford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
