Basketball Recap: New Auburn Extends Winning Streak to Seven

New Auburn had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They blew past the Winter Warriors, posting a 59-24 win. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

New Auburn pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Winter, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.

New Auburn will venture away from home to face off against Prairie Farm at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winter, they will welcome Flambeau at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
