Basketball Recap: Dayspring Christian Academy Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

Dayspring Christian Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Gabe Mellinger. The Dayspring Christian Academy Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Christian School of York 52-50 thanks in part to Mellinger, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 21 rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Dayspring Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Christian School of York, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Dayspring Christian Academy will face off against Mount Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian School of York, they will challenge Harrisburg Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
