After a string of five wins, Billings Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gallatin Valley Christian HomeSchool Cougars. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Billings Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sawyer Middendorf, who posted six points along with eight boards and five blocks. Middendorf is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. David Ryan was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

Billings Christian's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Gallatin Valley Christian HomeSchool, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
