It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tuscaloosa Academy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 100-61 victory over the Central Lions. The win was familiar territory for the Knights who have now won 12 games in a row.

Danilo Stojakovic was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 42 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Tuscaloosa Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellis Hamiter, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 boards.

Tuscaloosa Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Tuscaloosa Academy will take on Central of Coosa County on Wednesday. Tuscaloosa Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Central of Coosa County likes a good challenge. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
