Volleyball Recap: Highlands Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Highlands Christian had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the King's Ridge Christian Tigers 2-1.

Highlands Christian had a senior duo take command as Emily Eades had 16 digs and one assist and Julia Dos Santos had 11 digs and two aces. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for Eades.

Highlands Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for King's Ridge Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highlands Christian will challenge Sagemont P at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King's Ridge Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The Weber School at 5:00 p.m. on the 9th.
