Basketball Recap: Clarke Comes Up Short

Clarke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Carlisle Wildcats 71-43. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Clarke's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Carlisle, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarke won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Knoxville at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carlisle, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will square off against Bondurant-Farrar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
