Volleyball Game Preview: Sunset Knights vs. Homestead Broncos

The Sunset Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Homestead Broncos at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Sunset is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Sunset came up short against True North Classical Academy and fell 3-1.

Sunset started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Homestead came up short against North Miami on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: North Miami scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sunset, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Sunset beat Homestead 3-1 in their previous matchup on March 4th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sunset since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
