Volleyball Game Preview: Royall Panthers vs. North Crawford Trojans

The Royall Panthers will take on the North Crawford Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Royall will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Royall duked it out with Necedah on Thursday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cardinals.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-18.

Ella Schroeder was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 11 digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Schroeder wasn't the only good servers: Royall was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, North Crawford posted their closest victory since September 25th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Ithaca. The game was the first time the Trojans have beaten the Bulldogs on their court since September 19, 2019.

North Crawford's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Royall, their win bumped their record up to 22-7.
