Basketball Recap: Sean Mayberry's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Shore over Summer Creek

North Shore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summer Creek Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-64 back in January.

North Shore lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sean Mayberry, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points and six boards. Gotti Mack was another key player, putting up six points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.

North Shore's defeat dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Summer Creek, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-11.

North Shore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-50 win against Humble on the 7th. As for Summer Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 89-66 victory against Channelview on the 7th.
