It was a good run, but Flinthills unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 58-21 loss at the hands of the Eureka Tornadoes. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tornadoes from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Flinthills' loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Eureka, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Flinthills will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Classical at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Eureka will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Fredonia on January 10, 2025.
