Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. James walked away with it. They put the hurt on the West Florence Knights with a sharp  3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Sharks not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since September 25th (when they won  3-0).
 While St. James won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24,  25-8.
 West Florence's loss  came despite strong showings from  Pearson Frick-Mueksch and  Tate Cannon.  Frick-Mueksch  had 14  digs and one  assist, while  Cannon  had 11  digs and one assist. Cannon is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as he's  now  had ten or more in each of the last seven games he's  played.
St. James' win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 21-8. As for West Florence, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record  this season.
 St. James wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against Lucy Beckham on the 23rd. West Florence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
